University Lecturer, Honorary Consultant in Pain Medicine
Dr Michael Lee joined the Division of Anaesthesia as University Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Pain Medicine on Dec 2013. He graduated in Medicine from the National University of Singapore and trained in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine in the Eastern Deanery (Norwich, Addenbrookes and Ipswich Hospitals). Mike was awarded an MRC Clinical Training Research Fellowship based jointly in the Division of Anaesthesia in Cambridge University and the FMRIB centre in Oxford University, where he researched the neural correlates of central sensitisation and cannabinoid analgesia in humans. His interests lie in the clinical application of research techniques (e.g. psychometrics, sensory testing, neuroimaging) to aid decision-making for the management of persistent and non-specific pain and associated symptoms (see Open Researcher and Contributor ID)
