The Critical Care Biology Group, led by Prof Charlotte Summers, aims to elucidate the mechanisms of disease underlying conditions such as sepsis, nosocomial infection, and acute hypoxemic respiratory failure (AHRF) to enable us to develop interventions that improve clinical outcomes for patients.
